Shaggy Rag Rugs

A great class for beginners. We’ll be making shaggy rag rugs from strips of fabric worked into hessian. If you’ve ever admired the rug in the shop window and want one of your own, this class will teach you all you need to know. You’ll have the opportunity to try out different rag rug making tools, which will then be available to buy at a discount on the day.

This is a great technique to create a beautiful rug from waste materials.

Please note:

Classes must be paid for in full at the time of booking. If you cancel, we can only give a refund if your place is taken by someone else, so please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t make it. If we can’t resell your place, you will be able to come in and collect the goody bag you would have received on the course if there was one included in the fee.

Unless otherwise stated, classes are in our upstairs studio space. Hot drinks and biscuits are included in the class fees.
