Knit Your Own Socks

Over three sessions, you will learn how to knit socks, in the round, on double pointed needles.
In each session you will learn a key part of sock knitting and between sessions you will need to work on your sock to get to the correct next step.
This course is only suitable for those who can already knit, and you must be able to cast on, knit, purl and decrease. We’ll be making socks with a heel flap.
All materials and a pattern are included in the cost.
Note that classes are in an upstairs room.

Classes At The Snail: Terms and Conditions
Classes must be paid for in full at the time of booking. If you cancel, we can only give a refund if your place is taken by someone else, so please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t make it. If we can’t resell your place, you will be able to come in, after the scheduled date, and collect the goody bag you would have received during the class if there was one included in the fee.
Unless otherwise stated, classes are in our upstairs studio space. Hot drinks and biscuits are included in the class fees.
If you are not sure whether a class is suitable for your skill level, please check in advance by email or calling into the shop for a chat. Please let us know if you have any sensitivities that could affect the materials you can use.
In general, in consideration of others, we do not allow dogs to attend classes. If you need to bring an assistance dog, please let us know in advance.
