Eucalan Delicate Laundry Concentrate

The perfect wool wash, and the one we Snails use ourselves at home and in the shop.

Eucalan is a gentle, no-rinse wash specially formulated for wool, silk, and other delicate fibres. It's ideal for hand-knitted garments, handwoven treasures, lingerie, and any special items that deserve a little extra care.

Simply add a small amount of Eucalan to a basin of warm water, swish gently, and immerse your items. Leave them to soak for around 15 minutes, then gently squeeze out the excess water (or roll them in a towel to remove moisture) before laying flat or hanging to dry. No rinsing required—just wash, dry, and enjoy.

Eucalan contains lanolin, which helps to condition wool fibres, keeping them soft, supple, and naturally beautiful. Because it is highly concentrated, a little goes a long way, making it an economical choice as well as a practical one.

The no-rinse formula also makes Eucalan a more environmentally friendly way to care for your handmade items. Using only a small amount of product and very little water, it has a much lower water footprint than machine washing (although you can use it in a washing machine) or traditional handwashing with repeated rinses.

Available in two sizes - 100ml and 500ml - and in a choice of four beautiful scents, plus an unscented option for those who prefer fragrance-free laundry care.

Top tip: Always support wet woollens when lifting them from the water, as wet fibres can stretch under their own weight. Rolling items in a towel before drying helps them keep their shape beautifully.
